Art Classes At an Artist's Studio
Everyone deserves to learn art, in a warm and supportive atmosphere. All classes are taught by me, Sally-Ann Johns, in my working studio. My passion is encouraging young artists in a supportive and friendly environment. I have been working in the arts for 20 years, from making and selling pieces to exhibiting internationally, and have for the last 8 years been running my own classes and workshops. From young and old, beginners to aspiring art college graduates, an art education is possible for all types of people.
Because of the significant cuts to art funding in schools the last few years, there is a lack of art education happening now. But art is about more than just the finished piece – it is an important part of a well-rounded education. There are many benefits to developing the creative mind, as the skills learnt in an art class help students to become creative thinkers, which helps them to navigate the world.
